Cultivating Hope in Kibera

Our Story

The group was created by Youth based in Darajani located centrally Kibera, the largest slum in Kenya – and even in whole Africa. The poverty and the difficult surroundings often lead the young residents to drugs or crime. The founders of this initiative have been involved in crimes and even gangs themselves but decided to assemble this group and do something positive for the development of their community. They created this project out of necessity.
